I'm Engaged!

Once again, it's been forever since I've updated! I'm not to good at that, huh? I have got tons of new purses done though. Before I post the pictures, I wanted to let everyone know I got engaged!! I'm so excited! It happened on May 15th, and I have already been looking at bridal magazines that my friend gave me =) Here's a picture of my fiance and I with the roses he used to propose (He wrote "Will you marry me" on the card. They were waiting for me on the table right when I walked in after we went out to eat) awwww...
..and here is a picture of my ring! It's kind of blurry in this picture..
I can't wait to start planning the wedding! We haven't set a date yet, but I'll let everyone know as soon as we do!

Now here are some pictures of purses I have been working on. I spent all last week sewing and I'm so happy I got so much done. My soon to be sister-in-law and I are going to our first craft show next weekend and I'm really excited!!! You can see some more pictures and a better description of all of these purses in my Etsy Shop too!

I think monogrammed things are sooo cute! I tried a couple wristlets with removable initial pins. What do you think?

I love the black and white material. I think the turquoise and pink goes wonderful with it and really makes it stand out.

Isn't the black and cream material on this purse so unique? The cream flower really adds some flare too!

Brown and light blue go so well together. I made a small fabric bow to add on this purse too. The paisley print is so pretty!

This wristlet matches the black and cream purse. I think the black and cream design goes really well with the small black and cream polka dot bow! It'd be a really cute gift for bridesmaids!
This was one of my favorite purses because it looks a little dressier. It also has a beautiful silver glimmer in the material that you can't see very well in this picture. I thought the silver flower added some more style to the purse too!

The floral material used on this purse was very pretty I thought, and it's also thicker so it gives the purse more stability which is great.

All of the colors in this wristlet are beautiful, plus it would add some color to any outfit!

I love the color of the green material on this purse. The yellow ribbon adds a bit more brightness and the cream flower is the perfect neutral accent!
This wristlet is made out of a more neutral colors. The contrast between them and the brown bow looks cute!

This wristlet has somewhat of a primitive look which I thought was different. Don't you think the heart button is perfect for it?
Black, white and silver look so good on the shape and style of this purse! It's very trendy and a pretty good size too!

There is everything I have been working on! I'm so excited to get started on some more for the craft show next weekend!! I'll make sure to post pictures of any other ones I get done. Thanks for stopping by!

Sew Much Painting!

So I know it's been awhile since I've been on again, but I've been helping my brother and sister-in-law paint their house they just bought!! I'm so excited for them to get all moved in and see the finished product. They have a lot more space in this new house then they did in their old one, so my nephew Luke will be able to go crazy with his toys!
Of course I have made time for sewing though :) Here are some of my latest creations...

I LOVE the way this black and white purse turned out. Very classy, and it's sure to never go out of style!

I think the green material in this next purse is so unique! The designs in it really make the purse stand out.
Here are some wristlets I've been working on, also. A bride bought three of the first one for her wedding party because these are her wedding colors. Wouldn't these be beautiful wedding colors??

Here's a fun, trendy wristlet! The colors of black and pink together really make it stand out, and the silver flower really makes it POP!  :)
I wanted to try a quilted wristlet too. I liked this material because it has both black and brown in, so you never have to worry about changing it with your outfit. It's always going to match! :)

I hope you liked the purses and accessories! There are more pictures and information on them at my Etsy Shop, so feel free to visit it! Leave me a comment and let me know you visited :) Thanks for stopping by and I'll post some new pictures of other things I've been working on soon!

I went Nuts in New York :)

I'm baaaaack! It's been awhile since I've been on here again. We went to NYC last week and it was AMAZING!! Our hotel right in the middle of Times Square, so we were so close to everything and the view of all of the lights at night was awesome.
Of course I did some major shopping, and some sight-seeing too. I loved visiting China Town, Little Italy, and SoHo. Some of the boutiques in SoHo were a little expensive, but the clothes were so different and fun to just look at. This dress was made out of newspaper! I thought it was so cool!

We ate at Max Brenners one night, and if you ever go to New York it's definitely a must-try. There are so many deserts you can pick from and they are soo good, not to mention they look really neat!

We also saw so many little stores with trimmings and fabric in! I wanted to go in every single one, but there was so much else to do that we didn't have a lot of time to browse through them. I did take some pictures though so you can see how much there was!

And here's where I got the title for this blog! There was a three story Toys-R-Us that had this little stuffed peanut in, and I thought it was so cute! Here's a picture of my mom and I holding it. The Toys-R-Us was HUGE. It had a ferris wheel in it even, but my mom wouldn't ride it with me :( haha

Here's a couple of the other pictures we took on the trip. We didn't get tons because it rained the first day we were there so we didn't get the camera out a lot.

Now, here's a couple of wristlets I was working on before and after New York. These first four are for the prom candidates at my high school. I made them formal looking in neutral colors so they would hopefully match whatever color dress they had. What do you think??

I love how the shiny material makes them stand out even more!

Here are a couple I have been working on for Farmers Markets and to set up at booths. I love how well the colors go together in both of them. I was so excited when I got them finished! You can see more photos and a better description of them in my Etsy Shop.

Thanks for looking around! :) Leave me a comment and let me know you stopped by to visit!
